The Original pancake house

This is a review of The Original Pancake House located in Rockville Maryland. I went around noon on a Saturday morning. The place was pretty full and we waited 20 minutes to get a seat. I ordered blueberry pancakes with sausage, bacon, and buttermilk pancakes with a nutella crepe as well. After we got seated and ordered the food arrived very soon.

We only waited around 5-10 minutes for our food to arrive. The pancakes were very good, but a bit dry and definitely needed the syrup. The breakfast sausage was definitely missing a lot of flavor and was a little bland. The bacon was tender, and chewy, a little burnt but good nonetheless. The nutella crepes were also pretty good. The whipped creme complemented it nicely and the nutella along with the crepe was warm. The bacon was definitely the best part, followed by the blueberry pancakes, the buttermilk pancakes, and then the sausage. Overall I recommend going, but it was not the best breakfast place I have been to.

I give it a 2.5/5 ice cream scoops overall.
